Our Consortium is also among the signers of the memorandum of understanding for the protection of quality brands in Sicily.

Well aware that there is no real development without the sharing of a common project, last June 28th in Ragusa we took part in the first conference entitled “General Statuses of the PDO IGP DOC and QS Sicily Consortia”, promoted by the Regional Department of agriculture, rural development and Mediterranean fishing, in collaboration with the daily newspaper “La Sicilia” and “Dse Pubblicità”.

Together with associations such as the Sicily DOS Consortium, the Chocolate Museum of Modica, the “Principi di Grimaldi” State Professional Institute, and the “Pietro Piazza” I.P.S.S.E.O.A., we decided to share a project to relaunch and give greater value to Sicilian certified products by means of a fruitful dialogue among institutions, protection consortia and trade union representatives that can support Sicily’s candidacy for the title of European Region of Gastronomy for the year 2025.
