Menfi, named Italian City of Wine for the year 2023, will be hosting a round table discussion on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at the Municipal Library, organized in collaboration with the Unione Italiana Vini, on the theme of the opportunities, challenges and prospects of the world of wine at a national and international level.

The meeting, moderated by Paolo Castelletti (General Secretary of Unione Italiana Vini), will include a presentation on the subject by Carlo Flamini (Head of the wine Observatory of the Unione Italiana Vini) as well as speeches by Antonio Rallo (President of DOC Sicily Consortium), Lamberto Frescobaldi (President of Unione Italiana Vini), Alessio Planeta (Azienda Agricola Planeta), Giuseppe Bursi (Cantine Settesoli) and Laura Mayr (Ruggeri). The event, free and open to the public, will start at 10:30 am.
